Bodegas Lavaque
Bodegas Lavaque, present in Argentina´s viticulture since 1889, operating through Viñas de Altura S.A.
now manages 3 important viticultural projects in Argentina. Same are based in very distinct production areas both at the famous Mendoza region and at the Calchaqui Valley, Northern Argentina with its high altitude vineyards. The Co. is backed by important vineyards ownership and state of the art wineries. A brand new and ambitious export project is presently under way.

Bodegas Menem
Anillaco, the name of a place in South America, Argentina, which means "Water from Height" in Indian quechua language is located in the base of Velasco's Hill in Andes mountain, near La Rioja city. Mr. Saiul Menem, a Syrian immigrant chose this palce to settle himself and his family down. He elected it in order to cultivate a grape vine. Menem's son s observed the climatic characteristics of the semidesertic ground zone and favourable brightness. All of this composed the exceptional conditions for an excellent maturity of grapes.

Bodegas Salentein
Literally at the foot of the Andes, Bodegas Salentein are situated in a prime location, at more than 1.200 metres above sea level, surrounded by the company's fincas. The winery, unique in the region, is built in the shape of a cross. Each of the four wings is a small winery with 2 sections: the first one, at ground level, houses the stainless steel tanks, while the second one, underground, is used for maturing the wine in oak casks at 8 metres below ground level. The four wineries come together in a central chamber resembling an amphitheater and there they share the bottling facilities.

Bodega y Viñedos Fapes
After the founder's death in a car accident in 1939 his daughter and her husband took over the winery. The couple, who expanded and modernizined the winery, is still the sole owner ot its facilities and vineyards. And now son Marco, the 3rd. generation of wine makers. Consequently, this winery, one of the oldest in the area, continued under the ownership of the family following the tradition of its founder.

Founded in 1940, La Riojana is a Coopertive winery in the city of Chilecito. The city itself lies in a valley at 1100m above sea level between Mt Famatina (6500m) and Velazco Massif (4500m) in the agriculturally rich province of La Rioja, Argentina.

In 1919 José Eduardo Crotta arrived from Pavia, Italy to found a winery In Argentina.He originally lived in Buenos Aires, where he was a beverage dealer, and in 1933 aiming at diversifying his activities, he came to Mendoza, "the land of sun and good wine". Nowadays, the grand children of Don José, the typical European immigrant that made the country together with another immigrants, are still devoted to the viticulture, producing top quality wines, that keep the prestige acquired through years of great effort.

Artisan Winery located in San Rafael in the Province of Mendoza, Argentina. This family owned business started in 1956 by Jean Rivier, a Swiss French immigrant. Actually the second generation of winegrowers that employs modern technology of cultivation and vinification in order to preserve and enhance the natural characteristics of the grapes.

Located at General Gutiérrez, Maipú, 16 km from the city of Mendoza, this winery produces a number of reknowned wines. Luigi Bosca Wineries
At the start of the 20th century the Arizu family purchased the installations of an important flour mill so as to convert it to use as a winery. Today the extensive subterranean tunnels used to bring water from the Mendoza river to operate the water-mill are now used as dark cellars where wine reposes, achieving its optimum maturation.

The ancestors of the Navarro Correas family are the Correas family, with a long tradition in producing fine wine. Their story dates back to 1798, when Don Juan de Dios Correas first planted vines in Mendoza, in vineyards nestling in the foothills of the Andes mountain range.

Nicolas Catena
The winemakers at Catena Zapata have long believed that every wine begins in the vineyard. In this spirit they began, in 1983, a pioneering research project into the microclimates of Mendoza, Argentina. Through the planting of carefully selected clones in various vineyard sites, they were able to identify the ideal locations for their premium wine vineyards.

The winery and its 680 hectares (1,680 acres) of cultivated land are located in Luján de Cuyo –the first Argentine territory to have its wines classified as Denomination of Controlled Origin–.
